The interface gives you CAT control of your transceiver via a built in USB Comm port. The interface has a built in PTT function and can be used without a CAT interface. This frees up your PCs internal sound card for normal windows functions. The interface has a built in external USB Sound Card based on C-Media CM108 chip.

Please note that some of these applications offer enhanced functionality when you also have CAT control of the radio.
